OPPORTUNITY INTELLIGENCE

One organization. An entire universe of opportunity.

Growth rarely comes from a single source. OpportunityAbundance searches across funding, contracts, partnerships, sponsorships, awards, earned revenue, and other strategic possibilities, then combines AI-powered discovery with experienced human review to identify what deserves your attention.

The objective is not to give you more possibilities. It is to help you recognize the right ones.

BEYOND THE GRANT SEARCH

Opportunity takes many forms.

Traditional prospect research often begins and ends with grants. OA looks across a wider landscape because the resources that move an organization forward may come through funding, relationships, visibility, expertise, earned income, or access.

Foundation funding

Private, family, community, and corporate foundations aligned with your mission, programs, geography, audiences, and organizational goals.

Government opportunities

Federal, state, and local grants, contracts, appropriations, capital programs, and public-sector partnerships relevant to your work.

Corporate partnerships

Companies whose community priorities, markets, workforce interests, or business capabilities connect with your organization.

Sponsorships

Opportunities to connect programs, events, exhibitions, education, community impact, or public visibility with appropriate sponsors.

Individual prospects

Potential supporters whose interests, affiliations, giving histories, or relationships suggest a meaningful connection to your mission.

Capacity-building support

Technical assistance, training, technology, planning, consulting, fellowships, and other resources that strengthen the organization itself.

Awards and visibility

Awards, speaking opportunities, conferences, media platforms, and recognition programs that expand credibility, reach, and influence.

Earned revenue and strategic growth

Contracts, licensing, program partnerships, service opportunities, and other pathways that may diversify revenue or extend impact.

DISCOVERY IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

A match is not automatically an opportunity.

An organization may be technically eligible for an opportunity and still have little reason to pursue it. OA evaluates more than keywords and category labels. Each possibility is considered in relation to your organization’s actual circumstances.

Mission alignment — Does the opportunity meaningfully connect with what your organization exists to accomplish?

Eligibility — Can your organization satisfy the stated requirements, restrictions, geography, and applicant qualifications?

Strategic value — Would success advance an established priority rather than simply add another project or obligation?

Organizational readiness — Do you have the programs, documentation, relationships, leadership support, and internal capacity needed to compete?

Timing and effort — Is the potential return appropriate for the time, preparation, reporting, and follow-through required?

Competitive position — Is there evidence that your organization can make a credible and compelling case?

FROM POSSIBILITY TO PRIORITY

Every opportunity receives a next action.

OA helps prevent promising ideas from disappearing into a spreadsheet or overwhelming your team. Opportunities are organized according to what your organization should do next.

01 — Pursue now
Strong alignment, confirmed eligibility, organizational readiness, and a timely reason to act.

02 — Develop
Promising opportunities that require additional relationships, documentation, program development, or internal preparation.

03 — Prepare
Known future opportunities for which the organization should begin assembling information, partners, budgets, or supporting materials.

04 — Watch
Possibilities worth monitoring for changes in timing, eligibility, leadership, priorities, or institutional readiness.

05 — Pass
Opportunities that are technically possible but do not justify the time, effort, restrictions, or strategic distraction.

Knowing what not to pursue is part of intelligent growth.

THE OA DIFFERENCE

Not a list. A reasoned recommendation.

Not a list. A reasoned recommendation.

A conventional search result
Matches based primarily on words and categories. Long lists requiring additional research. Limited understanding of organizational capacity. Little explanation of relative priority. More information for your team to process.

OA opportunity intelligence
Discovery shaped by your Opportunity Profile. Multiple forms of opportunity considered together. Human review of context, fit, and practicality. Clear reasoning and identified concerns. A recommended next action for each priority.

HUMAN INTELLIGENCE

There is experience behind the technology.

Founder and CEO

OpportunityAbundance was founded by John T. Suau, a nonprofit and cultural-sector executive with more than 30 years of experience in organizational leadership, institutional fundraising, strategic partnerships, board engagement, and organizational growth. John has led museum and cultural organizations, advised mission-driven teams, and worked with leaders confronting the same challenge OA was created to address: important ambitions supported by too little time and too little development capacity. His experience provides the human layer behind OA’s technology, helping distinguish a superficial match from an opportunity that makes sense for the organization, its mission, and its readiness.
